Now in the case of the surgery, the surgery could be a success and the patient could die, or at least by following a course of action consistently through to its logical conclusion at least the patient has some measure of probability of reaching a positive outcome.
The flaw in your analogy is that it is for you yourself to decide which specialists to trust and then act on that information, if you then choose to jump around here and there after that so be it, that's on your head, heh heh.
In the other example you've got one group trying to dictate to another group.
The flip floppers however may as well toss a coin.
Originally posted by kmax87The point is my dear waj, that in either surgery scenario the choice that you the patient has, is limited by the professionals available and the extent to which you could make an informed choice is rather limited. The point I am trying to make is that if either expert is competent, independently they probably would have roughly equal probabilities of success if allowed to promote their treatment from go to whoa.

The problem is that if for any reason the schedule is tampered with by someone not able to allow their ego to accept that the other professionals model is equally as effective and instead of letting it run its course tries to turn the treatment so that they can walk away with kudos for having solved the problem, thus ensuring their future election.
Its an added dynamic you would wish to avoid when the expertise asked for is critical and time sensitive and largely dependent on a series of cumulative steps taken in a particular order depending on the location of the first incision.

So, what you are saying is that companies have the right to pollute the environment that I have to live in, and are accountable to no-one?

Right, right, I'm onto it,
The tumor actually consists of control freaks, busybodies, bureauRats and pollies. The more time the tumor spends squabbling amongst itself acheiving nothing, the better off the patient is i.e. everyone that isn't a control freak, busybody, bureauRat or pollie
Nah those regulators can go and get bent with their paranoid delusions and leave the corporations to do the right thing by their clients. Hey if they are selling dud products the consumer is smart enough to choose something else. Right!?
Prove it for yourself. Go on the internet to . For a broader perspective go to . It's important that people know what is being done to us. Good luck. Rod
WTF --- I posted two websites and they did not appear in my post - is this one of those lame censorship websites - bloody hell - the websites I offered to prove my assertions are as follows - you'll have to figure out how to navigate to them....
the one which tells about the Security and Prosperity Partnership is called spp[DOT]gov - its a GOVERNMENT WEBSITE for pete's sake
the other one is the website of a patriot group and it has some excellent information - you might want to listen to the audio streams too - dynamite - navigate to... infowars[DOT]com
It's amazing the crap one must wade through to make a simple post. RP

Oh yeah, Europeans, union members, actors, trial lawyers and college students also detest work.
How could you concentrate the same amount of effort on your studies, when you are always exhausted from working?

I think college is overrated though, especially now, since it makes you a moron.

Originally posted by der schwarze RitterYour system is different from mine, college here is basically school from 16 to 18 y.o. for you, it is optional here, for the moment.
