We can all agree that a politician is always 'running'. Jack Kemp. Nancy Pelosi, AOC were all thinking, while they were in church for godsakes, about what they would say and shake hands about on the way out.
So, would you agree also that Trump was thinking about votes when he was at this affair? You gonna say that he should have set politics aside when he went to ...[text shortened]... itically when he is at a memorial or in church?
Give it up, man. He is as normal as apple pie.
What Trump is thinking is irrelevant; it's what he does that matter.

In this case he blatantly violated Federal law and Army regulations made pursuant to that law. Law breaking is "normal" for him so you're right about that.

Arlington National Cemetery is staffed and maintained by Federal employees. Using it for political purposes is making use of them for the same.

The Army's regulations were made pursuant to the Hatch Act recognizing this reality.
😂 no federal employees were part of Trumps team.

There are no laws that Trumps team violated…no matter how many times you lie about there being a law, the only law regards fed employees

Trump is not a civil-service employee in the executive branch of the federal government. It does not apply to him just like it does not apply to Biden and KH.

Even if it did apply to Trump that would be unfair since the president and VP can do it and have a campaign advantage. This law should be challenged and repealed.

He also did not use employees. He had them pushed away. Get lost you are bothering me. We didn't ask for your help. LOL!

there are police there, why didn’t employee notify them? instead she interjected herself which she doesn’t have authorization to enforce rules

If Trump had broken that law it would have been enforced by overly zealous democrats. You are right. It does not apply to Trump.

As for the rules. Rules and laws are not the same thing.

(Referring to the Hatch Act.)

The VERY last thing I need is to have to wade through campaign posters while I just try to do my job. I also don't need to know the political persuasion of somebody I have to work with. Just like I don't need to know their religion.

The Hatch Act is necessary. Because, you know, people.

We need it in place just like we need the federal law that prohibits weapons on government property.

The Trump retinue did not have the authority to break the rules, either.

You would probably also assault a librarian who tells you "Shhhhh!"

I hope they try to charge him with that law. That way he can challenge it in court and have it struck down as unconstitutional. It does not allow civil service employees of the executive branch to be in the communist party.

What if a law was passed that keeps civil service employees of the executive branch from being in the democrat party? Constitutional?

No, rules exist so that we don't run around killing each other like cavemen.

Society as a group has a responsibility to their fellow humans to obey rules.

Society isn't based on survival of the fittest. Rules apply to everyone. That's why they are fair. Only narcissists and bullies break the rules.

The Supreme Court would do that as another step toward their Project 2025 "perfection".

Your whataboutism is stupid and incorrect.

People in government break the rules all of the time and are never held accountable. Do you need examples?

The Army says differently and it is their job to staff and maintain ANC.

They also said the employee acted correctly and professionally.

So you lying and baselessly claiming something else is just another of your obnoxious stupidity and gullibility.
