It would have went over much better if he didn't put it on tic-tock as it made it look like he was doing it for Political reasons. Does he even care? He is the one that started that mess with drawing troops then as usual Biden and Harris was left to clean up his mess. There are a few different ways to look at this and fingers to point can certainly be pointed in both directions, in my humble opinon.

He used Arlington cemetery gravestones as a campaign prop. Explicitly against the law and intuitively wrong.

I don't believe Trump had a plan, he started the wheels in motion to take the troops out, but wasn't there to finish it. I don't think it would have went any better had he been there to handle it, as he messes up everything he touches. Watch closely what happens when he loses this election. He is already claimed only way he can lose is if it is stolen. He is just trying to keep himself out of jail by becoming president. I don't think he will have enough people fooled about his intentions.

Of course he cared, and wasn't about to go to a photo OP which was the smart thing for him to do. Trump gets a photo op at the expense of 13 dead soldiers, who he once called suckers and losers, you think he cares???? All he cares about is Votes it might get him. I think people are finally on to him at least the ones unlike yourself who haven't been brainwashed or bought.

Biden, cleaned up the mess? Surely you don't want me to nail you with an analogy. You don't mention the 13 men, you don't mention the roughly $10B in armaments, and did not mention that they will be aimed at us, and maybe Romania land or Netherland.

Here's the facts:

Trump had four years to end the US occupation of Afghanistan. He did not.

He cut an election year deal with the Taliban behind our Afghan allies' back releasing 20,000 Taliban fighters on the mere promise they would negotiate with the Afghan government. Those negotiations predictably went nowhere and the Taliban went on a major offensive in late 2020.

Joe Biden finally saw the folly of continued occupation and ordered the withdrawal. The evacuation was probably the most successful military one since Dunkirk; over 125,000.people were brought out meaning thousands perhaps tens of thousands of lives were saved (the Taliban aren't the Khmer Rouge but they probably wouldn't have been gentle to those who colloborated with foreign occupiers). Sadly, one terrorist attack killed 13 US soldiers but many more than that would have died if the fruitless occupation had continued.

Another fact is that Trump has never even mentioned in this campaign the 65 service members who died due to hostile action during his administration. No political advantage to doing that, is there?

You questioned it.

As the campaign event at Arlington cemetery was happening, the campaign was blasting social media with "reports" that Kamala and Biden were not attending the "3rd anniversary ceremony" honoring the fallen in Afghanistan.

They set it up as a ceremony but it was a campaign event. That's a fact.
