@sonhouse saiddow at 40 but granny cant put groceries on the table...yet the dems have you convinced they hate the rich guys
@AverageJoe1
So WHATEVER Biden does will NEVER be enough for the likes of you, Dow at 40,000 WHOOPPIE, it was TRUMP who did that.
Infrastructure bill, TRUMP WOULD HAVE DONE IT MUCH BETTER
and the same to every other bill helping the common folk.
@AverageJoe1 saidMy granny just told me that court-appointed SCOTUS judges have ruled AGAINST Trump more than once.
My my, a llittle jab with 'Trump appointed'. This is a great case to support a re-vamping of the Constitution. Imagine,,,,,a president appointing a person to a judgeship!!!!! It should not be allowed. People like Shav and AOC, and those foreign members and muslims of 'the squad', and Sonhouse and Bernie should appoint judges.
Y'all lose Shav. Frankly, you ha ...[text shortened]... king Trump. But he just said that Trump is no dictator. Oh, the conflict.
Keep on a' postin!
So your theory is all washed up!!!
@Mott-The-Hoople
I know they don't hate the rich dudes, they just don't know anything at all about the real world and how billionaires want to STAY billionaires no matter WHAT happens to the rest of us, recession, depression, atomic bombs, all covered, GREAT palatial bomb shelters already in place in places destined to not get bombed.
@moonbus saidYeah, SHouse and Shav predict doom for the USA. Trump has onerous plans, such as that
The courts have created monster they won't be able to control, and you won't like it when you see the monster does.
I blame Mitch McConnell; Mitch knew Trump was a loose cannon and could have stopped all this by conforming the first impeachment. But Mitch was a coward.
@sonhouse said3 little pigs story? one house of straw, one house of sticks, and one of bricks. If the straw pig has his house blown away while he is fiddling, does the guy with the brick house have a duty of care to the guy who had the stick house?

Like, where does it say anything like such an obligation in the Constitution? And why was the little pig story written? Why was the Boy Who Crie Wolf written? Were they written for no reason?
You would not believe my philanthropy, which I could pepper you with, but this thread is not about charity or empathy or philanthropy. (repubs are more charitable than dems, look it up.). You wrote above that some people, who have not prepared and structured their lives, don't even know about billionaires or some such, I dont really know what you are saying......have some difficulties, which is quite true. Self reliance is the solution.
@AverageJoe1
A genuine Ayn Rand follower then. I guess you figure you will be with the billionaires when the shhyytt hits the proverbial fan, tell me, how big is YOUR bomb shelter? Or will just go to your billionaire buddy and ask to come in?
Like Dylan said, road down 5th avenue in my Cadillac, a good car to drive,
after a war.
@sonhouse saidDon't expect you to read this, except to gloss it to see what you can find in it that you do not agree with . Self reliance, etc. I'd be interested.

Hey, the stuff hitting the Biden Fan? One would think Biden would make people rich, not poor. You are right about that, for sure. They deserve better from a guy who sleeps too much, at their expense. And we are not a racist country..., all of the poor cities, mostly black, are run by dems.
Finally, do you have some answer about the negatories you are writing about? There are only 750 Billionaires, so the answer does not lie there. What is your answer, other than replacing our dear leader Biden.
@AverageJoe1
Right, so you are complicit in the push to end democracy. I thought so all along. An agent for Project 2025. So you will do well in the next regime.
@AverageJoe1 saidGood grief.
OK, I missed judge sitting on case of a person who appointed him. That could be a reason to overturn. Havent studied that. Good point.
We in this country can not do the 'democratic chambers', because our populace can hardly put those people in such a powerful position. Do you think we would have to vote on each and every one..? Because right now the president, who ...[text shortened]... telage to learn to be self reliant. Will William be met with violence? Can you give us an example?
Yeah, I have nothing better to do in Barcelona, than keep responding to your posts…
I gave you a list of what needs to be done. Like it, lump it or stick it up your jumper.
I do hear what you, mott, mtg, etc. are saying.
I’m just telling you, you are wrong.
The mere fact that you can argue that a trump appointed judge residing over a case about trump is acceptable, basically proves you have no comprehension of ethics (conflicts of interest).
The mere fact that you don’t comprehend that not having everyone housed will lead to severe cracks in your society, proves you don’t understand social dynamics.
The mere fact you can’t put political preferences aside, to create stability within society, to steady the ship so that building can begin, proves you have no sense of social needs.
Adding these three things up, doesn’t make you, Mott or the MTG’s of this world ideal candidates to take advice from, when dealing with a polarised environment, which needs to be calmed down, to start the necessary rebuilding.
The last thing I will seriously say on this matter: look to different countries which have faltered democracies, many due to polarisations within their societies. You will see the violence, the panic and devastation.
It’s, generally speaking, not in your interest to go down such routes.
The idea that a sitting head of government can appoint supreme judges or any judges for that matter, is ludicrous and an obvious recipe for disaster.
It’s no wonder the US is in such a mess and the people take up military grade firearms and try to kill their Presidents on a regular basis.
Edit: “but we’ve got a constitution” .. what a load of bollox.
Nobody would care if the US was some tin pot banana republic still run by a Shaman waving a juju stick … but you bunch of paranoid sectarian lunatics are impacting the rest of the world.
Did you see how the UK transferred power two weeks ago?
Peacefully with honour, dignity, pageantry and respect. You should allow us to take charge for a few years and sort you all out.
@shavixmir saidYou libs leave it hanging when you cite the 3 or 4 things that we need, without a way to handle it. The way we see is that people need to be self sufficient. If we take your 'housing' to logical lib conclusion, a man from Yemen can break into our country, illegally, ....follow me here....and be entitled to housing.
Good grief.

Is this what you are saying? Yes it is. So you just gonna leave that hanging, or give us something to consider with this 'societal' problem?
@shavixmir saidGood afternoon in B'lona. And hello to DGeester and SUzianne, principal poster.

""Who appoints federal judges? Supreme Court justices, court of appeals judges, and district court judges are nominated by the President and confirmed by the United States Senate, as stated in the Constitution.""
So, you see, he NOMINATES judges. You do what Maruader does, changing a few key words of a post. Of course, a lawyer knows this and would conclude that Trump did not appoint the judge. For The Very Reason that you suggest, as an example.
Please correct your posts, you see how difficult these off-hand comments make it for us republicans. And it is impossible! to respond coherently to SHouse.
You silly geese.This may be helpful also for you to see how cool the Constitution is. My granny says it is far out. Awesome. So, all is well.
@AverageJoe1 saidit’s hard to deal with willful liberal ignorance
