@no1marauder saidTrump has been cooperating fully… an Epstein connected, Trump hating judge signs off on a warrant, dems are getting desperate. None of you that supports this action is for a free country.
You're being ridiculous as usual; no one is stopping Donald Trump for being interviewed by investigators but Donald Trump. That is, of course, his right.
You will reap what you sow.
@sleepyguy saidYes,those are the requirements BUT there are evils one can commit which results in being barred from holding any office. Trump is innocent of such rimes until proven guilty but the accumulated evidence strongly suggests he should be indicted and tried.
The constitutional requirements to run for POTUS are to be 35, US born, to have lived in the US for 14 years, and to have served fewer than two terms. Those are the only requirements.
@mott-the-hoople saidThat judge was appointed by Trump. The head of the FBI, Christopher Wray, is a Trump appointee.

@mott-the-hoople saidWe're aware the GOP is in thrall to Trump. Let's see how those candidates fare in November.
just a FYI…Trump backed candidates swept last nights elections.
@phranny saidSo this is just an attempt to keep him from running for POTUS again?
Yes,those are the requirements BUT there are evils one can commit which results in being barred from holding any office. Trump is innocent of such rimes until proven guilty but the accumulated evidence strongly suggests he should be indicted and tried.
That will just convince his supporters the deep state's out to get him like they have always believed. Republicans will rally behind him. You know that, right?
@phranny saidignorant…he was a magistrate, not a fed judge, magistrates are not appointed by the pres

@no1marauder saidI cant wait.

@kevin-eleven saidEasy man. Planted evidence would certainly sufficiently cast a shadow on trump’s plight. We are talking politics and tv now, not the law.
@AverageJoe1
Will you be submitting an amicus curiae brief in this case?
What makes you think Trump would ever comply with a subpoena?
If you really are a lawyer, I'm sure you must be aware that "planted" evidence would be insufficient in itself.
Maybe they have people from the lower ranks who are willing to testify under oath that they helped Boss Trump obtain the "planted" stuff.
No amicus, not my field. Somebody should.
Yes Trump would be required to comply with a subpoena. The dust-up a while back about subpoenas was that he was president, raising all kind of questions. Now he is a citizen, they should throw him in jail if he does not answer a subpoena.
@shallow-blue saidI truly know nothing about it except there was a huge commotion at the capital Trump was blamed for some of it and somebody got shot, and some people might go to jail. That’s all I know and I don’t care about the rest. Check with Sonhouse for updates, but don’t bother updating me. Really, why do you care.
Playing stupid has never worked for you, Joe. It's not working now.
@phranny saidplease point to this “evidence”?
Yes,those are the requirements BUT there are evils one can commit which results in being barred from holding any office. Trump is innocent of such rimes until proven guilty but the accumulated evidence strongly suggests he should be indicted and tried.
@no1marauder saidYou and Sue doing the same dance, a Samba, maybe. One thing you Marxist and socialist and liberals do well is avoid issues with inane patter that is not relevant to the question of the issue. The process applied to Hillary, who was proven to have a fake dossier that she paid for, that she lied to FISA, that she destroyed govt property, and destroyed emails which were evidence….all gave rise to interrogating her.
You're being ridiculous as usual; no one is stopping Donald Trump for being interviewed by investigators but Donald Trump. That is, of course, his right.
Tell us with your wisdom why they do not Apply That Process to Trump?
@AverageJoe1
Hell, I still wonder why people don’t consider Trump a good president. You all are aware, that Biden is much more the dictator than Trump could ever hope to be. I wonder why the phrase banana public has not been applied to him to be honest with you.

@averagejoe1 saidthese libs think the deep state is on their side…soon there will be teeth gnashing when they encounter the IRS army.

@mott-the-hoople saidDemocrat party has turned America into a banana republic, they are prosecuting/persecuting everyone on the opposing side they don't like, including the previous president.
these libs think the deep state is on their side…soon there will be teeth gnashing when they encounter the IRS army.
Now they have the IRS with 87,000 new agents coming onboard who will be beholden to them for their jobs.
Who do you think they will serve?
