Well, that's always been the problem. The undocumented workers take jobs that others won't take. We'd do better just making them citizens, increasing their pay, and giving them benefits. Why not? Unemployment is extremely low right now, so really, no MAGA moron is going to lose their job if such a strategy were implemented. It's been done in the past with great success.

Yeah, the tariffs are another thing entirely. What we have shaping up for the year ahead is the Perfect Storm of inflationary forces. I'm only now, I think, beginning to wrap my head around the magnitude of the impending economic wipe-out. If the nation doesn't splinter, then I foresee an immense political realignment on the horizon. Almost certainly there will be a severe recession. Time will tell...
