Ah hotels. Same here in the UK. It a massive problem the cost of which is currently running at £8.5 billion every year.

Good job our Goverment has saved about a billion, maybe a lot less given the nuances of wider related pensioner benefit claims rising, in order to help pay for it.

I honestly can’t understand why the liberal governments do not see the social and financial carnage which is coming.

This immigration thing has to be the weirdest thing about Amierican politics. You are blaming Trump for not doing something about immigration while he was in power during his 4 yr term, when Democrats were also in power for 4 years right after Trump, during which time illegal immigration from the Mexican border ran amok. What did the Democrats do about immigration during the 4 years.

They claimed there was no crisis. All of Trump's border policies were cancelled by Biden when he took office, then Biden/Harris and the oily little bald guy in charge of Homeland Security stated repeatedly to the media and to congress that the border was secure.
