Not long I imagine.
When Covid hit I looked up a few old prison buddies and a lot of them were released early because of covid.

The funny part is a couple of them already have outstanding warrants again 😂

You can look up any inmate as long as you know their prison number.
One of my old cellmates was murdered 😧
You brag about prison too much. You reveal no shame nor contrition for the wrongdoing that incarcerated you.

Maybe your're a little too enamored with the myth of "street-cred".

It's not a good look.

Maybe so, but never too short for a little humility and restraint.

Try them. Better respect resides there.

No one on the forum, true to form, has answered 'why are libs soft on crime, releasing prisoners onto the street for more crap.m Yes, when detained by the authorities, they qualify as prisoners.
Why can this forum not have adult conversations? One of you said the jails are too crowded. Oh. That is a good reason. At least you tried. It is almost childlike here. Why don't y'all et some toilet paper and roll Mara Lago.

I answered it, you ignored my answer and then said no one has answered it.

That's pretty much what you do in every thread you start.

@AverageJoe1

The original idea of being more lenient with criminals was for non violent/no victim crimes but it spilled over and now we are seeing violent criminals getting the same leniency.

The Liberal theory about prisons is the criminals keep going back to prison so it must be the prisons fault and not the criminals fault.

Liberal Logic is retarded.

There simply isn't room in US local jails to detain every person accused of a "violent" crime, never mind the petty crimes Joe is whining about, until their plea or trial. There were 547,000 inmates in local jails has of last year, which included those convicted of misdemeanors or other minor crimes. https://www.prisonpolicy.org/reports/pie2022.html

In 2019, the last year data was available, there were 1.2 million violent crimes, 6.9 million property crimes and over 10 million arrests for all crimes made. https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2019/crime-in-the-u.s.-2019/topic-pages/persons-arrested

It also doesn't help when you embed turning a profit into the incarceration process, and the system is geared towards prisoner growth. There is zero incentive to rehabilitate law offenders, and imprisonment is about exacting punishment not necessarily about justice.

So that’s it? No room? You seem ok with that. You find nothing wrong With these matters where liberals are liberal. Let people steal things and do nothing about it. Marauder, as far as I’m concerned these people are your brothers, as you voice not one word of concern that they are truly on the street to commit crimes again. How can you not show one inkling of rage about that.

NYC mayor asking WH to help

Wrong
The Mayor of NYC, simply
asked The State of Texas to co-ordinate
the busloads of people coming to NYC
where, by the way, they are welcome.
The busloads were arriving willy-nilly
and NYC was caught unprepared.

Stop with the BS; no one said "do nothing" about committed crimes.

By now, you should see your plan to lock up every one accused of a petty crime is impossible so what do you propose instead?
