@averagejoe1 said"For the record, you have never answered my query, does everyone have a right to housing?"
Yeah looks that way, I should have said that you 'avoid' questions that you cannot answer. Sorry, hope I didn't affect all the creds that you have been piling up. Plus, I have difficulty keeping you and Shav apart.
For the record, you have never answered my query, does everyone have a right to housing? You replied to the other imbecile, but not to me? 😢
No, when i said housing is a right I meant only people born on a tuesday.

@zahlanzi saidYou convinced me. The United States should export our homeless to Finland. Actually only a moron thinks government saves money when they provide ever thing on someone's wish list simply because they exist. Our country works great when people use government resources, like free public schools and libraries to get jobs and then may for what they want and need. I certainly don't support your system where we fully support free loaders who contribute nothing to society.
dumbass, a bill of rights doesn't detail how it's to be paid for. where the houses should be built for every freaking country on the planet.
It's an intent. It's up to each of the governments how or even if they should implement it, to their own ability.
Your government obviously doesn't believe it is a right. I and the un declaration of human rights say it is.
"If ...[text shortened]... ieves homeless people should be put in jail if they show their dirty faces in the nice parts of town

@wajoma saidActually, this is a rote response from a govt dependent liberal. In truth it is the only way they can respond, because they have no concept of an independent society.
A ridiculous answer, because there is no literal answer.
zahlooney bamboozle for brains.
Zahlanzi has no concept of an independent society. There is an ever-present shadow which looms over his world. He tries to color it up, but, hey it aint America.

@averagejoe1 saidI suppose you think it's cute talking here like some wall-eyed goober knocking down a jug of moonshine at the monster truck rally, but in point of fact it just makes you sound all that much dumber than dirt.
Finally, you admit 'no' right to housing. What did it take, two weeks? Why all the flowerdy soliloquies?
And for the record, 'little feller' is quite the term of endearment where I come from. "Did you see that little feller noodle that catfish??!"
Being from far away, you will LOVE to see what Noodling is down south. This daddy calls him little buddy, same thing.

Yes, like a bunch of goods you don't want.
Not like they are people or anything, right? They are objects that you no longer want in one place and can just decide to move to another.
Just like Jesus would have done.
Just like it says on the statue of liberty: "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free So i may ship them off somewhere, i don't care where as long as i don't have to look at them, maybe a lib city, lol, take that libtards"
"Actually only a moron thinks government saves money when they provide ever thing on someone's wish list simply because they exist."
There is a difference between "providing everything on someone's wishlist" and "is a fukin fact that it's less expensive (and more humane but that seems to be secondary) to provide homes to the homeless". First difference being probably that nobody actually asked for the former, just a dumb exagerations from right wingers parotting right wing talking points.
"Our country works great when people use government resources"
Hard to do that when you don't have a place to live.
"like free public schools and libraries to get jobs"
lots of jobs that will hire based on "i read a book in the public library "
"I certainly don't support your system where we fully support free loaders who contribute nothing to society."
First of all, there are homeless WITH jobs. You first lose your home by being evicted because you couldn't pay mortgage or rent and you keep going to your job while you still can while living in your car. Or if you don;'t have a car, until you get fired from your job because you were late walking from the shelter you stayed in on the other side of town.
It has been proven, time and again, that a homeless person, baring any severe mental illness, if given a stable home, will have a high chance of turning their life around. They can find a job, they can get clean if they have an addiction, they can "start contributing" to society.
The myth that everyone needing government assistance are free loaders is simply that. A myth. A heartless, ignorant statement from idiotic right wingers who believed billionaires telling them that the reason they aren't doing well is not that the 1% is stealing their labour, but because others, even less fortunate than them, are "stealing" the crumbs that are left, while "contributing nothing to society"

@soothfast saidAnother lib post proving they have no humor. And you little fellers get so personal and angry. Why, you have never jumped on Sonhouse who writes like a lunatic. I think he is basically just writing to himself.

Marauder does not write like a human, I think more like a droid.
Then there are Zahlanzi and Kev, you fellers are hot as firecrackers.

@zahlanzi saidNobody is buying this, Mr Pollyanna. What stands out is your several homeless references. If we did it your way, we would have to identify who qualifies as homeless.

Tell us how we, our government, would do that.....keeping in mind that we are not a socialist state. And could you lose the anger, please? It is Valentine's Day .

@athousandyoung saidSociety doesn't mean that the most successful have to always fulfill the wish list of those who have less. We have an endlessly large number of programs to help the unfortunate from free schools and libraries top medicaid and food stamps. We already force the most successful to pay more than half of their money in taxes and thus we can in good conscious feel we do enough for the disadvantaged. Do liberals ever believe that the successful have contributed enough and that at some point a bad situation is actually the fault of the person in the situation?
What is “society” to you? Usually you right wingers don’t use that word.

@quackquack saidIt would be nice to have a common sense logical liberal answer questions such as this. Why, for instance, do they never think that the rich have not given enough, given they pay 50% of all taxes.

@averagejoe1 saidthat's an indictment on the wealth gap between the 1% an the rest. That with all the tax loopholes, tax evasion, low tax rates for the rich, they still make so much more bloody money.

Who the fuk cares that they pay 50% of all taxes. If, grossly exaggerating for your feeble mind, 100 dollars is the entirety of the taxes collected in a country and the rich pay 99% of it is that fair in your mind? After all, for you who don't understand math, 99 % is a huge number. 100$ in taxes and who gets the shaft? The poor ofc. The rich don't need government healthcare they can buy the services of any doctor. They don't need free education, they have private universities. They don't need police coverage, they have personal security.
It's helpful though whenever someone brings up the percentage of the taxes the rich pay to justify the tax rates for billionaires. It saves us time labeling them as idiots
