I think all these social problems are created and dug up and thrown out there for one purpose......to divert attention from what is going on in the Socialist party, to divert attention from what Bernie is up to.
It is taking away a lot of energy of conservatives and republicans, as we become amazed with the race theory thing. Meanwhile, you are cooking your brew. ...[text shortened]... .
The lib powers that be could not care less about Critical Race Theory, it is nothing to them.
One of the more stupid posts here, even for you.

There's simply no accounting for 'stupid'.

"Censorship is telling a man he can't have a steak just because a baby can't chew it."

Right on the money.

As always, you redefine things in your own racist ways. As always you believe everyone must bow down to your opinion. As always, you are wrong.
No, as always, you are mind-numbingly, embarrassingly, wrong.

It creates an uncomfortable atmosphere in the classroom? Good!

That’s literature and history at its best. If it isn’t uncomfortable, then it wouldn’t be important.

In “The Man in the High Castle”, Twain’s novels are banned by the Nazis, because it shows blacks in a favourable light.

All this “protecting the kids” from language, history and culture is pathetic.
Let alone how it feeds into the right-wing propaganda of cancel culture.

Just look how pathetic it all has become. To discuss Huckleberry Finn, you can’t use the language from the book on an international internet forum called “debates”, because certain words are censored.

So, instead of using the the word, you have to use N-word… and EVERYONE knows what you’re saying. So it’s bloody pointless at best, finger wagging somewhere pretentious, hypocrite in sub-cultures and pandering to the politically correct twitter community at worst.

Bloody pathetic and demonstrably condescending.

Well, you want to ‘stir the pot’ mchill. Pitiful. I think You are not thinking about the development of our children in today’s world. You are looking backwards
Teaching children important parts of the laws of our nation is not pitiful, nor is it looking backwards. Primary and secondary students should have a basic understanding of their legal rights, as well as the legal rights of others, just as all citizens should.

The fact that you have a problem with this is pathetic, though not a big surprise.

Utter BS.

If the material is difficult and has to be put in perspective, that's the role of the teacher to do.

Otherwise anybody could find anything distressing.
"oh... don't teach me about WW2... it's too horrendous for my delicate ears."

Grow a pair.

Yes. I laugh in the face of fear and near death experiences. I’m not known for being careful.

You can’t not educate just because people don’t like the subject matter.
Slavery happened. Child prostitution is a thing. Sex is a thing. God doesn’t exist; it’s a fairytale. The holocaust happened. Most people throughout history had a harder life than you (the kid in the classroom). People are starving as we speak.

That’s life. All relationships end bad (or one dies or one breaks it off). And you are going to die.

Boohoohooo.

Grow a pair. This is as good as it is going to get for most people.

You laugh at near death experience, tell people to grow a pair, but cower in the corner at the fear of catching a virus.

Did someone sneeze? The world is coming to an end!!!!

Are you known for being stupid?
I've had some fearful and near death experiences, and I don't like to think about them. I sure didn't laugh at them at the time.
I think you're a soft creampuff that's full of hot air and talking big from the comfort of your living room.
Being from Holland, do your fearful near death experiences come from someone looking mean at you? Or a drug overdose? What?

I cowered because of corona?
You seriously don’t know me.

I act (surprisingly, some say) responsible by setting an example of washing my hands, distancing, wearing a mask, working from home, etc. But that is part of my job.
I don’t want to infect people and make them ill. That’s part of my empathy…

But I drove to the South of France, all through Europe. I didn’t stop visiting friends or doing the shopping.

Indeed, except from working from home and wearing a mask in shops, the pandemic didn’t impact my life in the slightest.

And just so you know, as soon as the mask ordinance was lifted, so was my bloody mask. Complete nuisence… I wear glasses.

So tell me, how did corona impact your life?
And… if it didn’t… why make such a big hassle about protecting others?
