It was 12:30 a.m. when I discovered that I had a star added to my ID. I had a hard time sleeping! I have some exploring to do now. (P.S.) I have subscribed to another site for some time, and could not afford both.

People taking the moral high ground over such trivial issues.

People talking down to other forum users after months/years of campaigning against others doing such things.

Tsk.

Not to mention gals unwilling to stoop to pick up their socks and guys who never learned their way around the kitchen.

51) Males who anoint themselves with the mission to crusade for indistinguishable and interchangeable

gender roles (some may even advocate experimental, clinical male pregancy and/or breast feeding).

I had to be told that there was a star by my name, Trev. That is how dense I am.

Greeting, Ale, to you and your one in a million Prince Among Men.

Thumbs up on both your gratitude for a thoughtful and generous

friend and incisive post on "Commonsense isn't." Regards, Bob

Thanks, Bob. Mr. ale is approaching 92 years young and is a living testimonial to leading life as it was intended. He is a handsome man who looks 20 years younger than he really is.

"... holding society back" from what? For the past fifty to seventy five years the USA has been in a downhill slide, trying to catch up with other decadent/totalitarian countries, which are now probably only fifteen or twenty years ahead.

The "such inertia" you despise is a breaking mechanisn, which serves to slow your transition to bondage and preserve what still remains of the founding fathers gift of your liberty and freedom. From the peer pressure induced stupor awake.

That's right, Jim, ignore the peer pressure. Keep those gals in the kitchen where they belong.

Often, Andy, you seem to think and post in circles and the circles move. You're probably not even aware of the pose you strike. So please spell it out. What pray tell does "woman's work" mean to you today? Fulfilling her uniquely bestowed role in raising children and caring for a family (and often working part or full time outside the role as well) or something else you appear to devalue. My longsuffering and unselfish father stood tall as the principal breadwinner. My dear mother, who recently celebrated her ninety third birthday, accomplished the daily "work is never done" household duties with an easy grace and grit. She still found time to take in laundry and ironing to win a few additional coins. That income made our school clothes and Christmas gifts possible.

Where have you been for the last fifty years? Women are college professors, women are ministers,
women are physicians, women are lawyers and judges, women are mayors and governors, women
are in Congress, women are CEOs of major corporations, women are astronauts. They're even
allowed to go to church without wearing hats.
