@a-unique-nickname saidLeaving threads up is surely, in most cases, more amusing.
I should be mod here, think of all the posts and threads that would get deleted just to amuse me.
@fmf saidIt’s not baffling if Suzianne was hunched over her computer thumbing down your posts and then accidentally posted without switching accounts.
It was my thread and my OP that your temporary housemate replied to. Why you had that tab open weeks or months after you'd left the site is baffling.
Occams razor…!

@a-unique-nickname saidThreads should never be removed imo, just closed if it’s all gotten out of hand.
Delete a good thread and there's usually a decent spinoff.

@kilroy70 saidUpdate:
@divegeester said
Baron Von Goostermeister.
He is a German immigrant living in the US, and pretends to be a British citizen in order to prevent interpol from finding him.
Video evidence of him and what he's been up to has recently surfaced, so it won't be long before he is captured and sent back to account for his crimes.

MI6 has provided the most recent video evidence of BVG and his activities. In an attempt to elude capture he has changed his appearance and daily routine.
He is presently under surveillance.
@divegeester saidYou supposedly died in a tragic car pooling accident, but I never believed that...
Good one citrus man.
It was just another attempt at covering your tracks.
@divegeester saidGive it up BVG, there is no escape.
Good one citrus man.
We have agents at every major international airport monitoring flights to Indonesia.
@divegeester saidNo, but thank you for asking.
Would you like a slice of Lime in that?
Gave up alcoholic beverages (and weed) many years ago.
I get high on coffee.

@kilroy70 saidDoes coffee make you feel high?
No, but thank you for asking.

I get high on coffee.
Acute caffeine administration has been shown to induce changes in subjective responses in adults. For example, studies by Childs et al. have shown that caffeine induces reports of feeing high and feeling different, as well as changes in mood, such as feeling more energetic and feeling happier
What does a coffee buzz feel like?
Caffeine is well absorbed by the body, and the short-term effects are usually experienced between 5 and 30 minutes after having it. These effects can include increased breathing and heart rate, and increased mental alertness and physical energy. Depending on the individual, these effects can last up to 12 hours.

@very-rusty said"increased mental alertness and physical energy" (and feeling happier) is what I shoot for. The main purpose is to jump start my mind and body after waking up in the morning. After that I might have another small cup of that wonderful elixir to keep me going until evening. Moderation is the key to making it work.

I'm too old to binge on anything, so like with anything else I drink coffee in moderation.
@a-unique-nickname saidI think this sums it all up rather nicely.
Why are you replying?
Just leave it... Not worth it.
It doesn't matter.
