One wonders how you get through your normal day.

This sentence only requires one thing, a comma after "are" (with perhaps another after "surely" ), to be perfectly acceptable. Of course, you, the master of misrepresentation, misrepresent what he said with the micro-quote of what he said. It is far from "disassembled".
So not so much "wordsmith", than "hack".
