@ghost-of-a-duke saidDo you see me replying to any more of his posts?
That you're done.
Doesn't mean the rest of you are off the hook, unless of course you join our Clan, that gives you a pass! 😉 😛

@fmf saidNo need to invoke my thread in order to convince me of the principle.
I think your thread "Changed my username" was a good idea. If, however, it had been deleted because it was alerted by people who are unimpressed by your persona and posting, I think it would have been a justifiable talking point as it would represent yet another example of the recent escalation in people trying to silence one another by alerting posts and threads and trying [sometimes successfully] to get them deleted. You may not agree, perhaps.
I would agree that even if someone had somehow accrued "negative forum karma" in the eyes of some others, it would be incorrect for someone else to alert one of their threads and have it removed solely out of spite, malice, or mischief, without regard for the content or the other contributors affected.
I would also agree that if the deletion had been an innocent mistake, it would have been polite and decent for the parties involved to admit it (but I also understand that this might present a problem for the moderator involved, if they are trying to maintain anonymity according to the moderation standards of the site).

@kevin-eleven saidTrolls are part and parcel of the internet and as RHP falls into that realm it too will have it's share.

@kevin-eleven saidThe Moderator makes the decision on if a post or thread is removed. (According to the moderation standards of the site).

It is really a very simple process.
How can YOU point a finger at the person(s) who alerted it?

@very-rusty saidIf you really mean to imply that I have pointed a finger at anyone regarding the deletion of the thread, then you yourself have just made a false accusation.

Is that what gives you a sense of agency, fulfillment, and self-satisfaction, to disrupt threads with nonsensical clutter and to make false accusations?
Unfortunately for you, I have enhanced amygdalar retention, so this might stick in my craw for a very long time, no matter who advises me to just let it go and move on.
@kevin-eleven saidWhat false accusation do you think I made Kevin?

Have you alerted it, if not do so!

@kevin-eleven saidListen if you think I said something offensive report/alert the post.
I have quoted your very own words. Please see above.
Don't tell me your quoting what I said.
I can't help your issues that you have either, that is your problem. If you can't let something go, you will not be happy on here.

@very-rusty saidStrange that someone who mocks and dismisses other people trying to tell him how to behave, is now trying to tell me what to do.

@kevin-eleven saidWell my son you said I had said something offensive right?
Strange that someone who mocks and dismisses other people trying to tell him how to behave, is now trying to tell me what to do.
Then report the post, see if a Moderator agrees if they do it will get removed, it isn't that big a deal.
Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.
What are you doing right now if not trying to tell me what I should be doing?....LOL... Just think about it for a second.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidYes, I consider it little.
Little?!
We don't have that many posters anymore though.
You'd be surprised the bunch that watch and never say a word because they don't like conflict. 😉
