@ghost-of-a-duke saidWhat would make you say that goad, everything couldn't be better in my household! π π Thank you very kindly though for your concern! π
So, a bad day in the Rusty household.

@hakima saidThank you, Hakima, for injecting some reason into the discussion. As a fellow contributor may I say that I enjoyed and appreciated your contribution to the programme.
Since Box 39 is community radio and therefore, non-profit, it isn’t advertising; it’s promotion. There’s a difference. Whoever alerted the thread does not understand what that means, apparently.
Everybody here promotes themselves, either for their creativity or their inanity. It occurs in obscure ways; by adding an avatar, participating in a forum, or playing a game of ches ...[text shortened]... s and subsequent removal of threads without investigation are ineffective moderating, in my opinion.
@very-rusty saidOk. Go have a shower, drink a cup of Horlicks (when you were a child - remember), have good nights sleep - I'll carve you another riddle when you wake my dearππ¬
You ever think about not talking in riddles?
You have something to say, just spit it out.

@relentless-red saidYou actually think everybody is a "possible suspect" in the case of getting this thread's forerunner deleted? So, to your way of thinking, Indonesia Phil and Hakima and the 3-4 other RHP posters involved in making the show are "possible suspects" too? "The whole community", potentially, could have wanted the link to the show deleted, is that how you see it?
You asked 'who does it leave?' within the context of Ghost and me saying we hadn't been red thumbing or alerting. Answer, it leaves everybody else in the whole community as your possible suspect.
So,
Q Who does it leave?
A The whole community.
@fmf saidNow that's a perfect example of 'sealioning'. That's what turns me off. That's what probably attracts the thumbs and maybe even the alert imo. If you want to play the pantomime villain, don't complain when you get booed.

@relentless-red saidThis is nothing but a dodge.

You have made a peculiar assertion about "the whole community". And this morning you fold immediately when asked about it.
@relentless-red saidTalk me through this. Why would a link to a radio programme made by several RHP members "attract" a request for it to be deleted? You sound like you condone threads being alerted by people who feel "turned off" by the people starting them. Say it ain't so.

@fmf saidRelentless Red, you appear to have appointed yourself as a kind of spokesman and ombudsman for forum decorum and standards. If so, surely the deletion of a non-controversial thread merely because of personal animosity is an incident and deterioration of decorum that you disapprove of?
