"Bali’s governor says Indonesia’s ban on sex outside marriage poses no risk to tourists. The island's governor Wayan Koster says visitors ‘would not need to worry’ about changes to the country’s criminal code. Visitors to Bali will not be put at risk by Indonesia’s newly ratified criminal code, the island’s governor said, dismissing concerns that revised laws which include articles criminalising sex outside marriage may scare away tourists from its shores."

@fmf saidThat wasn't really my point, people will still refuse to go much like they refuse to visit countries that punishes sexual preference.

Why fund a country that refuses to give people their own freedom? Of course that argument could be made for many places, and in all likelihood won't have much of an impact.
Bali probably has a reputation for being a party spot that most will continue to want to visit.
I met a girl from Indonesia in Malaysia years ago, she just wanted to have fun. So what would happen to her under this new law? The foreigner gets to have fun while she ends up in jail?
Would you have broken the new law with your wife? I'm sure a lot of forged marriage certificates will be sold.
@trev33 saidThere is no onus on you to "fund a country" by going there as a tourist to have extramarital or premarital sex or to have sex with sex workers. People here who oppose the law will just have to do what they can about "their own freedom" despite your plans to be a looking-for-sex tourist elsewhere.

@divegeester said11 from 15 gone in the second page.
Once again it’s ridiculous unintelligent over moderation by someone inexperienced and obviously partisan.
Nevertheless it’s still fun to zing the the strings of the brittle, thin skinned, and good to know for future reference 😉
I mentioned sex that needs to be removed, FMF replied to it - removed. A post promoted gambling and the other was off topic talking about sinners. I reckon we can get the other 4 removed.
@fmf saidNow that we're on the subject.... 🤣
You are asking me about my wife and I having sex? Who are you, the creepy Kevin Eleven in disguise? 🙂
I'm asking if you think you still would have met your wife under such conditions. But you knew that.
@fmf saidSo you don't think the law will be observed?

Yawn. You are prying into the circumstances in which I first had sex with my wife? What's the matter with you?
