I work for Delphi - have nearly 40 years in from General Motors, BUT GM spun me off as "Delphi"... Now that I'm getting ready to RETIRE and collect on my hard earned 40 years of labor, suddenly Delphi claims bankruptcy! Yeah, and guess what??? GM says they don't owe me a dime cause they gave my retirement to Delphi!
But Delphi claims they LOST the money in our pension fund... that they can't pay it! (right before they made this claim they hired Steve Miller, a hatchet man lawyer... He in turn gave the top execs at Delphi 90 Million in bonuses, then claimed bankruptcy).
During this bankruptcy, Delphi claims it need to drop the hourly wage from $27/hr down to $9.50/hr. And also cut their health care and retirement pension 50%.
It's a world wide movement by the extreme right wing to eliminate the middle class and make all workers slaves!

A year later Delphi claims bankruptcy cause they used our pension money to build plants in China. NOW, Steve Miller is arguing that the "worthless hourly scum are paid $65/hour for mowing the grass, while we pay the workers in China $3 an hour".
First of all... out of 3,000 employees at Delphi, there are only two that mow the grass! And they make $25 an hour. SO the rest of us are very angry that this bozo is trying to to mislead the public into thinking that the hourly workers are vastly overpaid. Believe me, the hourly people in the plant have to work on assembly lines and it's VERY HARD WORK!
What is happening here is that the American taxpayer is funding the new, Industrial Revolution in China! Soon there will be no industry left in America... we will have all our tanks and jet fighters made in China.
So I have to ask the question: What's going to happen when the United States has a dispute with China? The great country of America has been sold out by it's greedy politicians. China will be the next Super power and will own both America and Europe!
