My experience is that the terms 'witch hunt', 'lynch mob', 'kangaroo court', 'stalking', 'hate' etc can usually all be translated here by the phrase 'asking awkward questions'.

Yes I am sure those people who have been subject to a witch hunt feel the same way, its not that they are innocent, but the awkwardness of the questions which is their main concern 🙄

You don't think there are people even today who practice witchcraft? I myself have come across in the rurals of my own country their pentangles in abandoned buildings. Infact I was so bold as to place a Bible tract that i had in my shirt pocket smack bang in the middle of one and weighed it down with a stone for the returning witches.
