Everyone who starts a thread probably wants it to do well.
The best threads implode.

Personally, I've never thought about it! πŸ™‚

Maybe subconsciously I know the TWINS will come in and ruin it. πŸ™‚

You can't win every battle.

You're not Stonewall Jackson.

Ones that are, at their very essence, half-baked exercises in attention seeking, though, probably start at a bit of a disadvantage.

Is that how you feel like you are at a bit of a disadvantage all the time?

There is no reason why threads that start at a bit of a disadvantage can't end up as art.

Regarding modern day technology, have you ever felt that a device was questioning your motive, or action?

Example: your microwave wondering why you are cooking an item longer than suggested. Or your cell phone getting frustrated with your Google search?

Ever feel like you needed to explain yourself to a device?

(A light-hearted thread)

Edit: or your refrigerator wanting you to close the door because it's been open too long?
Do what now?

My fridge complains when I don't close it, my washing machine complains when I don't open it. They both use the same five-letter word. Should I wash my fridge, or chill my washing machine?

My mother once got frustrated with Apple iPhone’s Siri function, and I don’t know what she said to it, but Siri retorted “you don’t have to be rude!”

Thank you for contributing to the fridge thread.
