Having seen the three videos, i see nothing racist, or offensive in the videos. I am not from any of the areas parodied in the third video, so it is up to those people to be offended or not by it, but the first two videos reaffirm my belief that Kirksey is - an old pervert that get's off on a certain type of inter-racial love, and uses these forums to get his warm and stickies by posting things about it. I know that this is not apparent due to the subject matter, but if anyone lined up his past postings (especially his deleted ones), it would be easy to see the patern.
Nothing wrong with these videos though, in my opinion. 😛

I have alerted all 3 examples for the following reasons
1. Prostitution promotion on a 13+ site.
2. What is "jungle fever"? and why do you link soft porn
3. The great state of Alabama being represented by a KKK member
I would like to ask you something though: Do you not see a difference between joking about child prostitution and actually prostituting children?
Do you see no difference between talking about pornography, sexual education and exploitation?
Do you not think that the words "great" and "Alabama" are a contradiction in terms?
The last question was a joke, by the way...
Originally posted by huckleberryhoundWell, I'm a little confused. If there is nothing wrong with them, how is it that they affirm your belief that I am a pervert? That is a little off topic as I want to stay on the topic that questions if these are OK in the media, why would they not be OK on RHP.

Originally posted by kirksey957More so, if RHP would start becoming more restrictive than the public media who are accessible to every one (and every age), why can't 13- kids not play chess on RHP? Especially since whatver is written in the public RHP forums is readable from outside anyway. Creativity can be used for other things than hypochrisy, I would hope.

Not sure who did or did not see the removed posts, but here are some examples of what was said to stereotype a black person.
One post said Obama would be late. Late because he's lazy? Late because black people are not punctual?
He will not dress appropriately. He will be pimped up? I doubt it, but we're talking stereotypes here.
There will be hip hop played in the white house, because we know all blacks love hip hop. Another stereotype.
All blacks love a good 'yo mamma' joke. We all know that, right?
The secret service will need to protect countless children, because we know that blacks as fathers do very poor, and Obama probably has many children though several women.
SNL is shown late night on TV, and parents have the right to let their kids watch or not watch. SNL is shown at this time, so as not to be seen in the afternoon when most kids may be watching. Parents decided what their kids can and can't watch.
RHP shouldn't be a place for parents to decide if their kid should participate or not. SNL is a group of black and white comedians who parody these stereotypes to show they are ridiculous. Kirks IS a white man who has never stated his intentions, and would have us believe he really IS black.
Lets next compare it to someone who comes to RHP and pretends they are Mexican or Jewish, or even Polish. This user could pretend to be a theif, stingy, or stupid and stick to offensive stereotypes. That is not what RHP is about. People are people, their heritage makes little difference in most instances.
RHP is not the place to propagate these stereotypes. There are plenty of places we can all go if we get a rise out of this type of humor, but RHP would rather not have it. One man's joke is another's offensive slur.
How do all racial jokes start?
*Looks over shoulder.
RHP isn't the place for the original thread, and it was removed and posts like it will continue to be removed. If this is your brand of fun, have it someplace else.
Those are my thoughts as a user and a mod, though I am not touching this thread, just stating my mind on the subject. I hope not to need to argue this point in this thread, I'd rather ignore it all since I don't find it funny.

Originally posted by PhlabibitThere are several things you did not address. The initial post of the removed thread stated that some of the mentioned issues were actually overheard. Not stuff I made up. It was to point out the fears (irrational and racists) that many people have. I invited people to share their worries. Some of it went to humor. I say humor because it is the same humor that comes out in the media that is readily seen as acceptable. My question has not been answered yet. How is it that there is a standard of moderation on this site that does not correspond to the moderation/censorship of other media? It is not a question to stir controversy, but rather promote dialogue. I think you will agree I have been very reasonable and polite in this thread.

It's stupid, but it doesn't warrant censorship.
I have been told to stop doing it. But this is what is so interesting; I am violating something when I do it, yet when there is something similar on TV, it means good ratings and is not seen as offensive. I am hoping some moderators will step into the fray. Or even Russ and Chris.
I was trying to find the video on SNL of "Hillary using "Obama's" tie as a noose.
Originally posted by PinkFloydPhlab did a good job in pointing out some of the issues. I'm still at a loss as to why everyone's standard of humor should fit his ( or any other person for that matter).
