@woofwoof said"They're not really rules. They're more sort of guidelines, actually."
I don't know about Rule #3.
If a convict continues to break rules to the detriment of the site's credibility: I'm not going to restrain myself from nudging that toward the noticeable.
On the other hand, rehabilitation is always a pleasure to enable and behold. So, case by case, I guess.
The other 3 rules are staunchly rooted in common decency, if not common sense. Kudos!

There is no reason to think that a convict or an ex-convict is more likely to infract the ToS than any other RHP member.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidNor was Bobby Fischer's high rating linked to his purile naivity.
Your unique wisdom is not linked to your chess rating old chap.
@moonbus saidTyson, a hardened criminal, known to eat his victims in pies, is more likely to infract RHP's ToS than Barbara from Halifax, mostly here to discuss knitting patterns.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidForensic hospitals are populated by representatives of both extremes: the under controlled and the overcontrolled.

One day Barbara will just drop that one stitch too many...

He got life.
Barbara on the other hand has knitted garish tank tops for everyone she has ever met,
and is still free.
Justice?
@moonbus saidI wouldn't want to muddy my finger by pointing toward the contentious, old indian standing at the door.

But a multiple-account holder, may be a supporter of even more.
Though there's no cash at stake, no money to lose.
The competitive spirit of the games, can fall prey to a ruse.
@divegeester saidMore of Divegeester's condescending question game: OK.
Who are these “convicts” and how are they impacting the “site’s credibility”?
Third time of asking.
Has Suzianne left the site or not? On this question, will you ever admit to hiding, behind the steering-wheel of a big truck, Dodge?
Dealerships want to know.
@the-gravedigger saidApparently, she has just been arrested for knitting balaclavas for the criminal underworld.

I miss the days when a chap could readily trust a Barabara.
