It is easy to take a quick look at statistics and draw conclusions that may not be true.
for instance, 47% are vietnam era...is that because:
1. Vietnam was a bad war.
2. Vietnam was unpopular.
3. Drug use was high in vietnam
4. Guerrila wars in the jungle are particularly debilitating
5. The segment of the population that went to Vietnam was predisposed to being homeless.
6. Vietnam vets are the right age to make up such a large portion.
7. Other factors not mentioned
