I have had many very long talks with you know who the past few days. He even came over last night to talk and from everything he tells me it is a very different culture as far as attitudes go. Makes me feel horrible for what you must have to go through. I'm just glad that people don't care about such silly things as that up here. Bottom line is it's nobodies b ...[text shortened]... d necks with limited thinking abilities but nobody pays much attention to those sorts either.

They probably think that children with a Mom and Dad are better off - poor misguided rednecks. Not with it like us post modern folk.
Poor misguided rednecks thinking that passing judgment on people somehow makes them better people themselves.
Originally posted by mokkoTouchy, aren't we? Children with two parents are generally much better off. That is a fact. Stating facts is not judgmental. With that said, there are many very loving and excellent single parents. That is still not the best way, but sometimes the only way. If one plans beyond the moment, having children should be preceded by marriage if the best is desired for all concerned.

BTW, calling others 'rednecks' with little or no basis is judgmental.

Originally posted by mokkoCorrect me if I'm wrong, but, isn't Alberta debt free due to the massive oil and gas development? I think you'll find that your local government is just as socialist and to a large degree much more liberal with its handouts than the rest of Canada.
I live in the only debt free province in Canada. It didn't get to be that way by handing out tax dollars to freeloaders. A single mother here having to depend on welfare would soon find herself unable to provide even the basics. With every business in town advertising help wanted signs any person looking for a handout would be seriously laughed at.
Just out of curiousity, what happened to the other two Dads, are they still involved or did they just book it?

The major reason Alberta has prospered so much is due to it's anti-liberal approach, that may not be popular but managed to get the job done.
Don't think for a second that the liberal blood suckers in Ontario don't have their hands all over the oil money coming out of AB, to fund such things as military assistance for Ontario residence for such natural disasters as snowstorms and such.
Edit:
Just to satisfy your curiosity, I happen to be best friends with my girls dad (they aren't all buttholes) and they are all spending Easter holidays with their dads.
