Like safety regulations that protect you from being permantly injured on the job? Well then thank the unions...the force that helped America become the powerhouse that it is today, now shut up your face and get back to work...slackerπ
we do not do any name calling here!
I did not say that Unions have not been doing some good things in the past, but now, they are only sucking the moneis from the workers.
Look at Detroit, and Michigan, The Unions have destroyed the economy. The salaries are too high and the productivity is too low.
There has to be significant cuts in either the payrates or the number of workers. I think the car manufacturing should be exported to other countries.

Companies were making money just fine while they were manufacturing here (US) but the allure of cheap labor was too much for them to resist. Those companies (like Ford and GM) that are struggling, should maybe rethink the wisdom of paying a CEO 500 times what the average worker on a factory floor makes. Japan doesn't have this problem (nor Korea) because their CEO's arn't a bunch of greedy bozo's

But Unions do not realize that the companies must be profitable, at least three years, without trying to waste the profits as pay increases.
When the companies have built up he reserves, then they can handle economic downturns without having to lay off workers. The pay increases has to have direct relationship to the productivity. When the productivity goes down, so must the salaries!

Your anti union arguments are tired, outdated, and downright lies.shame on you. read a darn book on the labor movement fer chrisake
The reason you pay more for seniority, is you are rewarding their experience level. same as non union shops (I've been in both)

Of course, it is an axymoron to call a union member a worker! π
Export industries from Dictatorship States such as Michigan, union membership is required, long live Free America, down with Liberals!
