Ghi - actually! 😏
"Man, I have to wash my dogi today."
"Really? He looks so well-groomed already!"

Punch, kick, throw, joint manipulation.
You're right. Nobody could think that kind of training was about beating someone up.

Originally posted by smw6869No, not certainly. If you had aptitude, about ten years of solid training, and were solidly built, you'd be okay in a bar fight, if there weren't breakable objects nearby.

Basically, big guys beat little guys. There are exceptions, but they are such as to prove the rule.

You are obviously a big strong dude and are good at street fighting. Most people aren't. Even street fighting is an art form. They use what works and screw the rest. What's wrong with training MA ( would not take 10 years) to be ok in a bar fight. I've never seen a bar fight last more than 15 seconds anyway. I'm talking about a real fight on the street.

I've always tried to remain a humble and teachable student in all my endevors. Hopefully I can learn from you. Please let me know if you can come to Las Vegas. Oh. Street fighting an art form? Maybe in West Side Story, or the video to "Beat It." I don't see it, otherwise.
