The amount of exercise doesn't have to be big at first and every day, anything is better than nothing. π
For anyone interested, I watched a Horizon (BBC factual series) episode just now that relates well to this subject. It was an experiment of thin people who, for the experiment, tried to gain weight by increasing thier calaries. One person actually gained muscle, not fat.

There's only one way to get thin, so forget all the crappy diets and rubbish. Eat less! That's it. Give it up.
It's like giving up booze and fags - you'll crave it but you gotta eat less. Most people who are fat are fat because they eat too much. There are many medical reasons for getting fat yes, but the majority are just greedy gets.
Losing weight thru eating less? Anorexics are your living proof mate. They can go for 3 months with little food and live. Body eats itself. You dont need to go that extreme and give yerself organ damage and crap. But there's your evidence. EAT less. Cut your meals in half. In weeks you'll be dropping in kilos. And mate - although food feeds your brain, well who's gonna notice? π
Go on, try the lom diet. Throw half your plate away for 4 weeks. Let me know the results- I might copyright it into another crappy excuse for a diet book! π
