The post that was quoted here has been removedI can tell you this from "real" experience. As far a night clubs go, there is a much drug use at the straight clubs as there is at the gay clubs, at least here in the US. As far as I can tell from other Brits, the same is true there.
Once you move out of your folks place you may find life to be much dirtier than you currently believe.
