As some of you may know, I am running in this years London Marathon in memory of my mother, who passed away 10 years ago.
Could I ask you all (please!) to sponsor me in this event for my efforts. All the proceeds will goto Cancer Research to hopefully find a cure for this killer disease that appears to have touched each and everyone of us in one way or another.

Yes, it my first race and very excited, I havent really got a target time (well, sub 4hrs) but just want to be able to run the whole distance.
Im doing a half marathon in Liverpool this weekend so will see how I get on from that one.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I lost a grandfather to pancreatic cancer at about the same time. Cancer really bites.... :'(
