How is it ethical for Microsoft update to change my default browser to IE instead of Firefox? HOW is it ethical for Microsoft Update to put an MSN login screen into my computers Start up routine?
If i wanted these settings, I WOULD SET THEM MYSELF!!!!
I've gotta get out. I have to release myself from the meddlings of these bafoons! I have really had enough. Software updates require me to give away information about myself. In order to download a trial version of Project2007, i had to give a heap of my personal details, including my email address, so that i can try out their software and potentially PAY THEM over £250 of my money. Am i a customer or am i simply another victim? There work ethic stinks!! This company has become a monster and i've had enough of them meddling with MY computer!!!!! π π π π π π π π π π π π π π π

Try to be more MS independent then.
Here in Portugal a lotta companies are doing that, so that they can jump ship eventually. Some of them are doing it. Don't ask me exactly how they're doing it cause i just heard it on a tech show...

The only threat to their new operating system is.....wait for it.....THEIR OLD OPERATING SYSTEM!!! Whoopie f***ing doo π΄π΄π΄
Is Vista any good? Does it come with a whole new range of exciting security issues?

It seems odd that once XP reached a certain level of stability, it was replaced.

The only problem is you have to flipping train all your staff to use it. Your companies productivity takes a nose dive for 3 or 4 months while everyone gets adjusted. Most businesses just can't afford this. Financially this wipes out any money you save through changing. MS are effectively holding the whole IT World by the balls and they're squeezing a little bit harder every day. I hate them with all my being!!!π

If you want a company that lasts for a long time I think that makes some sense.
