The source may be NASA, so to conspiracy theorists it's "well, they would say that, wouldn't they", but to me it's compelling evidence. And I watched the original event on live television, along with preliminary programs from our own local Tidbinbilla and Parkes tracking stations.

You are all missing the big picture... MONEY
In 1969,after "they" said we landed on the moon... 64 million extra dollars was then budgeted for the space program... I say it was well worth the state of the art imagery the space program invested in.
I also find in funny that in 40 years we cant get back to the moon to shoot another damn video... weird
Originally posted by utherpendragonwell, i watched a different programme, it wasn't government funded.
as far as I know they are not government funded. If so that would change everything.
i can't remember everything in it but it presented a pretty good case for the hoaxing of the moon landings.
i would like to think they were real, it would be a real shame otherwise but nothing would surprise me with the us government.

Originally posted by Very RustyThat quote, although correctly quoted, was a mistake. He intended to say, "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind," but he left out that one important word. So what he actually said really makes no sense.
So you figure
"One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind", was true?

ha! they didn't prove there were WMDs in Iraq!
😛
Reading from a declassified portion of a report by the National Ground Intelligence Center, a Defense Department intelligence unit, Santorum said: "Since 2003, coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent. Despite many efforts to locate and destroy Iraq's pre-Gulf War chemical munitions, filled and unfilled pre-Gulf War chemical munitions are assessed to still exist."
Santorum pointed out that during Wednesday's debate, several Senate Democrats said that no weapons of mass destruction had been found in Iraq, a claim, he said, that the declassified document proves is untrue.

I was teen at the time, and flag I saw was blowing for some time, with no one anywhere near it...It was long enough to ask the question how is that flag blowing?
It isn't blowing, just carrying on to wave (in a sinusoidal movement the same way a springy pole will) after the astronaut struggled to get it into the ground.

This left nothing new and so the 30th anniverary tape was destroyed.
