Care to test your theory for us?

I fell asleep. no scars.

blood, torture, suspense, weirdness, those things don't disturb me much. it's spiders I can't stand, no matter how cheesy. I've never made it to the end of arachnophobia.

If it's the 1983, no Stanton on the credits. Starring were James Woods and Debbie Harry.

Have you seen Baise-Moi? It's a pretty uncomfortable film. Though I suspect
this thread have turned from disturbing to horrific. In which case Baise-Moi
still makes the chart, strangely enough. 😕

Seen it, wasnt impressed. Unless you are talking about a different movie not based on the H.P. Lovecraft mythos.

Not in the least bit disturbing, IMHO.

I turned it off after about 30 minutes. Not just because of the cheesy acting.

"Irreversible" - The only film I;ve never finished. Ignoring it's in French, is shot backwards in time, and is graphically violent, the rape scene is purely horrific. It just keeps getting worse and worse and it goes on and on and on, and I was thinking "stop....OK, stop now... OK, that's enough..." and it went on, and got worse... I found it pretty harrowing.
I saw that a couple years ago. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the subtitles to work, so I had to watch the whole thing in French.

For me? Probably "Kids", "Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer", "Man Bites Dog", "Killing Zoe", "Happiness"...I'll need to think of a few more.
