My dad and his brother met Whitey Ford at a Yankee open house in the 60's. They go up to him in the clubhouse and say, "Hey Whitey, how about a picture?"
He says sure, so my dad hands him the camera and my dad and his brother stand next to each other so Whitey Ford can take their picture.
Cracked everyone up and became family legend.
