Second that, I watched him score from the centre circle when he was at BOCA Juniors way back just after the whistle blew. Was it Italia 90 when ran to the camera off his tits🤔 Anyway, sad loss for football.
Should of put this in 'On this day thread🤷♂️ 2005: George Best died aged 59😒
@relentless-red said'The' best. That second goal against England is so sublime I don't care about the handball.
Diego Maradona aged only 60. Genius combined with self destruction, but he was one of the very best.
Messi might be more skilful, Ronaldo more driven but Maradona had both qualities and delivered in the big games regardless of how strong his support cast was.
@relentless-red saidGod wants his hand back...

@drewnogal saidIm surprised he reached 60, alcoholic smackhead, what a role model for young kids playing football.
Such a short life and a sad end for a talented footballer.
@divegeester saidMark Hamill tweeted a nice farewell:
Dave Prowse dies; 85 years.
He described his character role as “The Green Cross Man” as “the biggest gif he ever had.
Most of us know him for his 3 times portrayal of Darth Vader although his English South West accent meant that George Lucas used the voice of James Earl Jones on screen.
"So sad to hear David Prowse has passed. He was a kind man & much more than Darth Vader. Actor-Husband-Father-Member of the Order of the British Empire-3 time British Weightlifting Champion & Safety Icon the Green Cross Code Man. He loved his fans as much as they loved him. #RIP" -- Mark Hamill, via Twitter

The telescope was damaged by Hurricane Maria in 2017 and was affected by earthquakes in 2019 and 2020. Two cable breaks, one in August 2020 and a second in November 2020, threatened the structural integrity of the support structure for the suspended platform and damaged the dish. Due to uncertainty over the remaining strength of the other cables supporting the suspended structure, and the risk of collapse owing to further failures making repairs dangerous, the NSF announced on November 19, 2020, that it would decommission and dismantle the telescope, with the radio telescope and LIDAR facility remaining operational. Before it could be decommissioned, however, one of the telescope's receiver's support towers broke in half, sending the entire receiver and its supported structure collapsing into the dish on December 1, 2020.
