@ghost-of-a-duke saidYou know I often wonder the same thing about the aforementioned poster. 🙂
He didn't provide his take on it. He gave a synopsis/overview. (Of what he had read).
Edit: Are there 'any' posts in this thread you have understood?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidIt was his view, his synopsis of what was written. As was mine, as was yours.

Don’t be silly.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidFair enough. I was just making fun of the fact she had listed the same thing twice thinking she was listing two different scenarios, hence me adding 2-3 more having assumed "they" referred to women more generally rather than simply badradger's alleged girlfriends. My bad. Apologies Suzianne, I got the wrong end of the stick.
The (joke) scenario posed was that the partners were thought not to know, but did actually know. This renders your extra points nonsensical, as David probably would have known they knew, if they had confronted or left him.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidClearly. And the whole revenge idea is usually reserved for those partners who were completely egregious in their actions, so that option is actually rarely employed. Women who are "burned" are usually completely satisfied by merely getting out and away.
Agreed. If they do indeed know more than he thinks, then clearly they have decided to accept it, or else would be long gone. (Unless secretly planning some kind of revenge).

@great-big-stees saidWe tend to learn things from experience, or from the shared experiences of those we know. This enables us to use words like 'usually.'
Hmmmm🤔 Maybe a study?
