The taxi driver mentioned it later and he had been in his car. My family were talking about it when I got home. I, however, did not feel it and I can only deduce that this was because a sequence of beers had been affecting my basal ganglia in a way that is unrelated to seismology. The epicentre was a few miles to the south of the city and was presumably linked to the recent spasm of the volcano - or perhaps to the next one.
Latest: you're safe if you are 7 km from the peak.
The ash and steam seem to have come out of the flank of the volcano.

@very-rusty saidI would have to say you would have to put an equally good black belt against them to truly test that person. The individual, their talent, abilities, along with mental strength and mindset on either side goes a long way. A brown belt to me is like a chess player between 1300-1400.

You're absolutely correct. I've seen good street fighters beat black belts, who never took a lesson in their lives just really good street fighters. No weapons just hands and feet.
