watch as water becomes scarce
some will have plenty
some will have none
and all humans will pay with blood

it's gonna be real bad
Our water supply comes mostly from 2 different rivers, one of the rivers has run off from a previous wildfire area turning the water too contaminated to treat. So effectively cutting our supply of tap water in half. Now if the supply of bottled water goes down, along with water treatment plants having problems that would be devastating.

My bone-in tinned sardines are already out of stock.
France report they have shrunk by a third due to warmer waters😢
Plenty of everything over here in the developing country of Indonesia (we have tinned sardines coming out of our ears) (which can be painful) If a winter of discontent awaits the advanced western society of Britain, I recommend decamping to Sulawesi for the duration, assuming we open our borders. It'll be warmer here, too.

Sounds great, could you accommodate a RHP General Forum conference at the lodge? 😀

We would be delighted. Since we closed the lodge for business we have more bedrooms and bathrooms than we know what to do with, so all are welcome. People could heal ongoing rifts, we could meet as proper human beings and realize what jolly nice people we all actually are. We could all go SCUBA diving, and.....Tinned sardines all 'round!!

So you can’t explain how the fuel shortages are down to brexit?

The facts might help:

- prior to covid and prior to brexit there were sufficient haulage drivers to meet haulage demand
- post brexit EVERY PERSON who was living and working in the UK pre-brexit, can remain in the uk.
- post covid there are approximately 120,000 less haulage drivers.
- this is due to the training and licensing of new drivers coming to a standstill (along with everything else) and not keeping up with leavers/retirees of haulage drivers during the pandemic.
- It’s got nothing to do with brexit whatsoever.

But I’m sure badradger will be along momentarily to call me a nasty name and declare himself the winner of something in his mind.

The entire world has gone to pot, forget the ark, time to move planets. Maybe try one of Jupiter’s moons.

No you are mistaken; you were replying to drewnogal about fuel and that is to do with there being less HGV drivers available and that is entirely due to covid lockdown.

Read up.

The lack of foreign manual workers is entirely due to those foreign workers taking a more reliable working route this summer, which is down to their perception of brexit and and primarily with the travel complications associated with covid.
