Why should the age be 15? In the UK the legal age is 16 and that is where the line should be drawn. If people think the last year doesn't matter, then what's the point of having a law?

And why shouldn't we allow the public to know when sex offenders move into their neighborhood?! You just pointed out that we never know for sure if we've rehabbed a sex offender. Given that, the public has a right to know and take precautions as they see fit.
