@Hand-of-Hecate
Yes but she is an academic as well as her physicist husband so a bit shielded from the riff raff.
My grandkids got robbed right in front of their house but Heather caught up with them and got the cell phones back, she doesn't take shyte from ANYONE. She has a black belt to prove it.
@sonhouse saidDo they live in the lab then?

@great-big-stees saidEvery Christmas I buy 4 little bottles of Babycham, even though they have changed the recipe and it tastes no way near as good as it did when I was a child.
Today, I bite the bullet and buy a Christmas tree.

@drewnogal saidWhy you lazy slob. π
This am I’ve come back to bed at 10.30 am because I feel like being a lazy slob π€ͺ
@great-big-stees saidSo is the plan to just lean it against the wall and drag it out to the curb in a few days? I see a trail of shed needles and broken dreams in your near future.
Today, I bite the bullet and buy a Christmas tree.

@hand-of-hecate saidWRONG!!!! We cut down a Fraser Fir, known for it's ability to hold onto it's needles. When the time comes to de-decorate it it goes into our backyard leaning yes, against the fence and the birds use it as a winter shelter. Eventually, in the spring, we will cut it up into small pieces and add it to our compost area.

@hand-of-hecate saidNever occurred to me but you may be onto something there. I will ponder that but since we have a tree this year it will have to wait till next year. I will keep you apprised.

@great-big-stees saidI bought one a few days ago; not a live one, however. It’s enough for me to manage the dog hair in the apartment, let alone dropped tree needles. I decorated it with clear lights, a garland of gold painted translucent butterflies, and tiny glass bulbs. It’s very pretty and the Christmas spirit is easing in.

@hakima saidMerry Christmas to you too. π
