@kevin-eleven saidWe are a country of immigrants always someone can read or speak it no matter what the language. 🙂
I don't think they can read Spanish up there.

@woodgirl saidI “might” get it from the local library…in time.
Er …. will anyone here be buying the book today to contribute to Harry’s family expenses?

@the-gravedigger saidWas it Harry?🤔
The BBC sent a reporter and camera crew to a large bookshop in central London to interview people in the queue. There was only one person there.
@great-big-stees saidSome was saying on a talk show last night he would be getting 20 million plus for the book(s). Perhaps it was for the money and to embarrass those he feels was unkind to his wife to put it in a nice way. 🙂 I will probably be listening to some of the interviews he did, keeping in mind there are two sides to every story.

@woodgirl said1) I imagine my budget is a little tighter than his at the moment.

2) This one seems like too much dirty laundry, although in a way I respect his openness. I hope it includes some material promoting support for the mentally ill and the disabled -- maybe that is included and tied in with his family matters?
3) I'm saving my pennies for:
a) his next book, "The Apocalypse of Harry"
b) the tell-all from Pope Francis
c) "The Dalai Lama Throws the Bardo under the Bus"
@very-rusty saidWhen I was still working I made the mistake of assuming someone was from Sri Lanka when they were in fact Canadian. 😳

I'll admit to having had the misconception that Canada was mostly white descendants of English, Scottish, Irish, and French immigrants, in addition to the indigenous people.
@very-rusty saidI'm starting to think he was dropped on his head as a baby, on purpose, and not just the one time. 😉
Bored already? I have a feeling you will be hearing a lot more about the book then next several months.

@kevin-eleven saidMany of the immigrants were actually born here and are Canadian Citizens. I've been embarrassed on more than one occasion asking someone how long they been in Canada. Their reply: " I was born here ". For obvious reasons I don't ask that question anymore. We have more immigrants working behind counters at fast food places like McDonald's and Tim Hortons, than I've seen. They will take jobs others will not take. They seem to be very hard working and very polite.
