@divegeester saidI was comparing how it has spilt families more so than comparing the actual virus to religion and brexit. Still families are fighting over brexit and will do so for many years i imagine. You sound like a politician on the news though, world beating vaccine rollout, why is it a competition? I find it rather odd that UAE has vaccinated everyone who wants it but still ends up on the UKs 'red list' while Mexico who, like Brazil doesn't really give a toss how many cases they have, aren't.
Similar to religion but not Brexit, but not the same as either.
Firstly religion. Religion is a socially well established, over thousands of years, state of faith. People rarely get upset because someone says they believe in God, despite some of those people who believe in God also claiming that those who don’t believe will go to hell. Threats of eternal damnation are ...[text shortened]... otiation position with the vaccine suppliers and is facilitating the world leading roll out of them.
Tanzania is on the list because they don't believe the data coming out of the country, while Mexico has been openly testing and giving details of deaths and cases, of which there's plenty but remains completely open to tourists from every country yet doesn't make the UKs list? Rather odd.
Like religion it's not as clear cut as do you believe or not, your other post in assuming, ive heard all of that as well and can see how people believe all if it, who knows, maybe some of it will turn out to be true but we'll probably never know.
I believe with my own eyes and experience, I'll say it again, I do believe there's a virus, much like i believe cancer, HIV, and all other illnesses and viruses are real but i don't believe locking the country down and denying people the chance to earn a living makes any difference. If covid was anywhere near as contagious and deadly as the media would like you to believe, i and many others i know should be dead already.
@trev33 saidSorry for “sounding like a politician” I was just trying to compare and contrast, as they say.

Anyway, keep looking and watch out for the family disputes.

You may be surprised how many people think the virus is a hoax even with all the deaths world wide.
Same as many people believe the election was stolen from Trump.
People are going to believe what they believe and all the talk in the world will not change their minds.
Here in Nova Scotia, we have lowest death toll in North America! You don't think it has anything to do with everyone following the wearing masks and keeping distance do you?
