I just started taking supplements. I did my research. I take 6 plus a multivitamin. I'm doing this to boost my immune system. Since I've aged, I just am not as healthy or energetic as I used to be. I've noticed a change and I'm only 36.
Seriously, what do you think? Do vitamins make a big difference? Do you take vitamins and if so, have you noticed any change in your energy/health?
They are expensive 🙁.

Originally posted by SunburntI tried them years ago and they did seem to make a slight difference but I figured for what the cost was it wasn't worth the it. (my opinion). If you excersise regularly and eat "everything" in moderation I found you get close to the wanted results without the cost. Old at 36..reverse those numbers and you've got mine. 🙂

Originally posted by SunburntNah, dont think they help that much. If you have a serious lack of a certain vitamin because you dont eat it that could give trouble that you can solve with pills. But in general you will get everything if u eat rather normal.

Your body needs vitamins in a certain (small) amount, if there are non at all youll have a problem, but if you have many of them your body will add them to your urine anyways...
I think taking pills is useless, just make sure u eat healthy. One apple a day keeps the doctor away🙂
Flax oil seems effective, is good for the inside, but has benefits cosmetically, like stronger nails and shiny hair.
Never noticed any differences with mutli-vitamins, tried them for maybe two years. FInally stopped wasting my money.
Most noticeable thing I've ever done, as far as feeling and looking better, has been to increase water consumption.

tis all about what you eat and how much exercise you do or don't get. even when going to a shop start to park near to back of the car park and walk a little instead of doing the lazy thing. it's amazing how many little things you can do that don't take a lot of time out of your day. got some time in an ad break when watching a tv show? 5 mins of sit up's or push ups. you don't need to go to the gym or have a personal dietist (is that a word?) to be healthy. the little things all add up.

I will try Flax....I take acidiphulus...heard of the benefits?
I will keep taking the vitamins til they run out, then go to just the multivitamin. You must have a hard time getting some - considering the veg diet, right? I have a hard time because I'm a busy mom. Sometimes I eat nothing but protein and a V-8 all day. I know I need more veggies and fruits.
