I think the whole situation is a bit pathetic.

He may have been disliked by a number of people, but at the end of the day, posting on a chess forum is hardly a cardinal sin, you don't have to read his posts just like you don't have to read mine.

There are more posters on here that get my goat more than him.

Sometimes it is good fun to partake in the provocation, sometimes it is not.

Whatever has been done to silence him (when others can continue) is just being selfish.

An open mind should fear nothing.

I despise him for being all that I hate about my life and admire him for the level of mental discipline I wish I had, if only I had the dedication.

For the same reason you became a mod.

You have just as much interaction on here as anybody else, it is just his generation and social circle do and say things differently.

I bet you could dish it out if you had been treated like him (perhaps you already have).

I believe GBaway is available for those that really cant stand seeing his name on the front page of General, and the site has facilities for blocking any correspondence a user does not wish to receive.

This treatment is starting to look a little bit perverse.
