From what I saw, they ran interference twice (which is very little for the wallabies), but they were penalised once, only one was missed by Walsh.
Too bad about the advantage, could've been interesting.
In the end he scots were in the game only in the first half - the second half was all oz even though they gave away that concelation try.
Originally posted by Crowleywell-all the aussie tryies were borne of mistakes. it was, i thought, very even throughout-even although the final score didn't show it as such. however-scotland still have the problem they've had for the last couple of years-scoring...paterson can kick, but we have problems with try's...

i saw 2 definate bits of crossing, and the obstruction which they got pulled up for (when roberts got through a gap, but one of our props was being obstructed so he couldn't tackle him?)

i will be watching the game and hoping we will win, both matches. But we need to put on two really big match performances. The Aussies have not completed an 80 game all season. We play well for a time and badly at other times.

What can I say about England?
Dreadful game, they looked like losers but managed to win somehow.
Well played to the Welsh, I almost started supporting them halfway through.
Oh, and my predictions weren't that far out. France proved too good for Ireland and will be too good for England if they play like they did on Sunday. Probably NZ for the title now 🙁

NZ over Aus, France over England.
France over NZ.
Whenever you are in danger of losing to Wales or Scotland, you know you are crap.
Right.
Well done to all the teams through to the semis. *grits teeth* I am not in the closet as I am waiting for Straeuli to come out. What a complete loser this guy is.We stuck with him through numerous poor performances.Record defeats to England,NZ and Scotland.Almost saw our backsides against Argentina and Scotland at home earlier this year.He has been promising and promising. After evey mediocre performance we were told"Hard work needs to be done" I almost fell off my chair laughing when I read a report in a newspaper yesterday quoting him saying"hard work lies ahead" I hope the hard work he is talking about is on a farm somewhere in the Karoo driving a tractor.
I have had it with this guy.I mean I dont like Clive Woodward but what he did on Saturday was pure genius.Called on Catt to relieve the pressure on Wilkinson. That is what coaching is about.A bit like chess really.Come to think of it I am to chess what Straeuli is to rugby. He should do the honourable thing and resign. That is if he can find someone willing to help him complete the form.
Now prediction time....aaah to hell with it I never get it right anyway.
