@kevin-eleven saidI believe the Mormons pray for their ancestors' salvation, so geneology is a big thing to them. There is a temple in Mesa, and a big geneology center nearby, been out there a few times, it's open to anybody.
Huh. I would have thought the Catholics had the biggest database. 😉
@kevin-eleven saidI'm not your waitress, big shot. 🙂
Serve me or not, as you will. But my say shall not be denied.
@suzianne saidInteresting. I was aware of the massive database they have but never knew the reason.

As there seems to be a group who are interested in finding out “who they are” as of today, what was the weaver’s room, will now be the genealogy room. Now who wants what, in the way of food or drink? As an aside, what used to be our library is now a place to go and get get “help” with just this (genealogy) topic. We keep saying we should go over and see what’s what, but we just seem to be too busy. 😢
@great-big-stees saidI think I still know who I am without the help of a DNA bank, so wine it is please and plenty of it. 🙂

@great-big-stees saidPlease tell those who want to find out 'who they are' to exchange addresses with themselves once they have accomplished this task. That way if they lose themselves again they will have a contact. I will be able to sleep off my hangover in said weavers room or library without being disturbed.

@the-gravedigger saidIt would be terrible to discover at the end of one's life that we weren't whom we thought we were. Imagine to have missed that all your life...! 🙂

@torunn saidI just look in the mirror and say, “I know you. You’re me”.🤔👍

@Torunn
Somebody alerted my post, and rightly so - it is bad language I know - the movie Taxi Driver is a cult film, the scene is iconic. This guy drives taxi at night and is deeply disturbed by all the terrible things he experiences. I will remove the film, it wasn't important at all. I thought that perhaps the Tavern is a private place.
@torunn saidI know what you mean I thought P.M.'s were a Private matter also, turns out I was wrong about that. Yet back some years ago Grampy Bobby got a ban for posting something that was in a P.M., I don't quite recall what it was exactly but something someone was saying to him.

@very-rusty saidI mean I see the Tavern as a fictional private place, it's not a thread that anyone is interested in judging from the few who post in it.
