@Great-Big-Stees saidTrue, We just do the best we can and learn as we go. A book doesn't come with the child, not saying there isn't enough books out there. Every child is different and the same rules just don't work for all Children, in my humble opinion.
As hindsight is always 20/20. Thankfully most of us do “the right thing” from the beginning or at least manage not to make too many mistakes.

@Great-Big-Stees saidI would like a glass of your absolutely best white wine - please go through the shelves, there may be some bottles that we have save for special occasions, this may be one.

@Torunn saidWell the “best/ most expensive one” I found in our wine cellar is a Domaine Leroy d’Auvernay Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2013, a “youngish number” but with a mature taste.π

@Great-Big-Stees saidAs money never is a problem here in the Tavern, I will try it, at 249,950 SEK / 750ml. Care to join me? π

@Torunn saidWell, on occasion, it does fall a little behind but we manage to resuscitate it…don’t we. Often it’s like our own little place.π
... and that was the 13085th post in this highly enjoyable thread.

@Torunn saidNo, not at all. If we did that there’d be a revolution. Perish the thought.π²π

@Great-Big-Stees saidWhen clubs close down and members seem lost, The Tavern is the place to meet.

@Torunn saidClubs can’t be “closed down”.
When clubs close down and members seem lost, The Tavern is the place to meet.
Well technically they can’t. But I suppose a club leader could pull a moody and boot all the members but a club leader cannot leave a club and therefore the club itself remains active.
