@very-rusty saidIt’s true for me plus short runs on grass or uphill doesn’t cause me any knee pain.
I was reading where the so called experts were claiming that a fast walk for older people is better than jogging because of the reason you mentioned easier on the joints.

@drewnogal saidYes, certainly easier than on cement for sure.

@the-gravedigger saidI miss his silly but fun threads which often opened up all sorts of conversations and banter.
The GF is a much duller place without FMF. Very much missed.
I’ve been trying to convince him to come back, but to no avail thus far.

@divegeester saidPerhaps he just needs more time, may not be up to bantering sessions and still in the grieving process.

@divegeester saidMy brother-in-law and I were very close knew him for many decades, been gone now for a couple years going on 3 and I still miss him and pick up the phone to call him.
Thoughtful comment Rusty.
Thanks
I can't imagine what it must be like for fmf, it will take time he will be back when and IF he is ready I am sure.

@very-rusty saidHe’s actually in fine fettle despite the grief, but he just can’t be arsed with this place. I get it.

But I miss his posting; love or loathe his persona here, his posting was quality content.
@very-rusty saidI quite smoking decades ago but “treated” myself on holiday. Now I’m bloody well addicted to a vape 🤦♂️
I quit smoking altogether in 2004, can't believe it is 20 years later already. Drinking 32 years ago seems like a life time ago now. I wish I had never started either of them now.

I’ll never learn.
