@handyandy saidAndy,
This is from the AP stylebook. The jury is still out on white.
"AP’s style is now to capitalize Black in a racial, ethnic or cultural sense, conveying an essential and shared sense of history, identity and community among people who identify as Black, including those in the African diaspora and within Africa. The lowercase black is a color, not a person. We also now capi ...[text shortened]... ple invisible and cause anguish."

Oh, just my casual observance of Trump Derangement Syndrome in some folks.
Never goes away.

@earl-of-trumps saidTrump Derangement Syndrome is the derangement of Trumpers who think Trump is a real president. You know the type. The ones who haven't been paying attention for the past three and a half years. The ones who actually think that Democrats caused Trump to be elected. That's some real derangement right there.

@earl-of-trumps saidAccording to Wikipedia, Trump derangement syndrome (TDS) is a term for "criticism or negative reactions to U.S. President Donald Trump that are perceived to be irrational, and have little regard toward Trump's actual policy positions, or actions undertaken by his administration.
People with normal brains took one look at the dem candidate,
barfed, and voted "other". So, ya, the dem pushed Trump in.
easy peasy, Ken Kesey
"The term has been used by Trump supporters to discredit criticism of his actions, as a way of reframing the discussion by suggesting that his opponents are incapable of accurately perceiving the world."

@moonbus saidMrs Buttersworth was briefly mentioned in a news cast, but I had just entered the room and didn't catch what they were saying.

Update on Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben. The times they are a'changin'.
Is Mrs Buttersworth in trouble too? I've always assumed she was an elderly or middle aged woman, but it doesn't matter a whit to me if she's white or black or brown or beige or whatever.
I just like her syrup on my pancakes and waffles, that's all.
