Luckily I had been at the library just before I got sick. So I used the time in bed to read (or start reading - I am not even half through yet) Günter Grass, "Die Blechtrommel" (The Tin Drum), which I have wanted to read for years. I find it a little hard to read, as it contains endless visual descriptions, and I am a very non-visual person. But it gave me some strange dreams.

I just finished A Feast For Crows by George R.R. Martin. It wasn't up to snuff (due to it only being half a story) with the rest of the series.

I've read just about every one of his short stories, but for the first time dipping into the novel "Of Human Bondage" by Somerset Maugham and already I'm depressed.

Not too sure about his most recent exhibition, though.

Quote from the book:
"I'd been painting rats for three years before someone said 'that's clever it's an anagram of art' and I had to pretend I'd known that all along"

I'm also proud to have taken a photo of one of his 'This is not a photo opportunity' pieces before I had ever heard of him.
