Hotmail has always worked fine for me and I've been using Firefox and Thunderbird for over 2 years. Maybe it's the settings on your pc that's the problem πŸ˜•

Hotmail works fine on firefox for me, that isn't what I posted about though - please see my earlier post.

Thunderbird does not allow the user to download messages from http mail servers. OE does. I can read my hotmail via OE without needing to login via the browser interface. I would like it if Thunderbird did the same, as then I would use it.

Edit: Gah! - you just edited that 'and Thunderbird' in there! I've just checked and it still only accepts POP and IMAP accounts though.

Indeed I did.... because I forgot to type it in the first place!

You're right, I'm wrong - it doesn't work with Hotmail

Without a doubt, Firefox is the mutts nutts.

I'm not a huge fan of Thunderbird and don't use it. Yet.

If there is anything you dislike about the internet, post your pet hate here, and I bet firefox has a solution. I hated black background, white writing sites, and now with Firefox I never have to see those sites that way anymore.

I liked Firefox until it started to open multiple instances of itself. (The task manager would show it running three times)
A friend had a similar problem but said that the new version is better.
The thing is, the old version was fine for months, then went weird.
And no, there were no viruses or spyware causing it.
Also, new windows don't give back all the memory they use when they are closed. (At least in the old version)
So ... I use IE with the Google toolbar and have pop-up blocking and spellcheck.

Damn you, woman. You would have to throw a spanner in the works, wouldn't you? πŸ˜‰ I tried my best to find more pawns, but failed.

But I did find this (Sorry Russ) http://userscripts.org/tags/chess

Isn't it high time you stopped flying solo and joined your lady in the boudoir for some quality time? Maybe ye could compare freckles or something, or talk about the different times the milkman seems to be arriving lately? I'd say she'd be an expert on that.
