@ghost-of-a-duke saidI also started many myself which is now being done by someone else. I am just trying to send this person a gentle reminder I've already done this, and it is not a good thing.
In your case, you certainly posted in too many threads, but I don't think you created too many. (I think you posted more in threads that were already there).
A thread should come into existence on the back of a good idea, not due to a compulsion to create as many threads as possible. Quantity actually dilutes quality.
I agree the quality of posts are more important than the quantity of threads/posts. The idea is to get more people involved which I thought in my own mind I was trying to do. Sitting back looking at it now and re-reading everything. I was no better than the present poster is doing.
I am not trying to point out this poster is who we all know and someone very close on his heels, just a friendly reminder this is not the way to go. I've been there wore the t-shirt, had more red thumbs than either poster over the years.
I thought it funny the other day when a poster said he was going for more thumbs down than GB who is deceased now may he R.I.P.. and myself, as that would be quite an accomplishment if one would want to call it that. Times were different back then and done differently. Things that were acceptable then are not now, which in my opinion is a good thing.

@divegeester saidWhen you don’t get that email you’ve been waiting for…
What examples of “the silent treatment” do you have from either here or in real life?

@great-big-stees said“The Silent Treatment”
Here, lay down on my couch...but don’t say anything.
Isn't this something the wife would do when upset with the husband?
I know, I've had it a few times. Good thing she doesn't know I actually enjoyed it! 🙂

The post that was quoted here has been removedI know you wouldn't have meant this for anyone specifically of course.
rent-a-gob. DEFINITIONS1. 1. a term applied to a person who is known for expressing controversial and unpleasant views in the media. The one-time Apprentice villain, who has earned the tag “rent-a-gob” after being roped in by daytime shows to cause outrage, said that the former football star is “enjoying himself”.
